for everyone to enjoy. Mass will show on channel 8 if you use a Mediacom cable box or on channel 107.3 if you donít use a cable box on your TV. This is available for Mediacom customers in both Silver Lake and Lester Prairie.
PRAYER NETWORK VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: The healing
power of the prayer network supports you or a family member in
need of help. This ministry is a way of the community holding others
up to the Lord in prayer. We are looking for volunteers to be a part of

TRAVELING CHALICE OPPORTUNITY: One of our responsibilities as Catholics is to pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life. Our Traveling Chalice Prayer for Vocations program is a great opportunity for parishioners to pray and promote vocations. Each week, one family receives the chalice & book to take home. While the chalice is in your home, we ask that you make a family commitment to pray each day for vocations using the prayers provided in the book. Save aluminum can tabs: The KCís throughout Minnesota are saving pop tabs with proceeds going to the Ronald McDonald House. The different Councils are having a competition to see who collects the most pounds per capita. Please help out our Silver Lake Council by dropping off your tabs in the containers at the main entrance and lower level north entrance.

ADORATION is each Tuesday, following the 8:00 a.m. Mass until 4:00 p.m. There are still many open hours that need to be filled for Adoration, please pray that volunteers come forward. Open times are: End of Mass - 9:00 a.m. (1 volunteer needed), 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. (2 volunteers needed), 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. (1 volunteer needed), Noon - 1:00 p.m. (2 volunteers needed), 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. (1 volunteer needed), 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. (2 volunteers needed). RELIGIOUS EDUCATION:
Catechists & Volunteers are needed for the upcoming 2018-19
Religious Education year. We are in need of Co-Catechists for
grades 9 and 11. We are also in need of substitute Catechists and
Prayer Listeners. Please prayerfully consider volunteering for one of
the open areas we have in our program. If you have questions about
our program, are interested in teaching, or know of someone who
might be a good fit, please contact Lori Penas at the parish office.

MAINTENANCE POSITION AVAILABLE AT HOLY
FAMILY
: The Church of the Holy Family is seeking a maintenance
person for 10 -15 hours a week. Duties will include maintenance of
our buildings and systems, lawn care and some snow removal. This
position does not include cleaning. For more information please

CALLING ALL YOUNG PEOPLE: A message from Bobbi,
Junior Choir Director
: We are calling all students in grades 3-12 at
Holy Family to join the Junior Choir. We will have practices every
other week. You will each receive a calendar of practices and Mass
times. Our first practice for here at Holy Family is on Wednesday,
September 19 from 6:30 p.m. - 7:15 p.m. I look forward to praising
God with all of you.






KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS: Paper Drive: The Silver Lake Knights of Columbus will hold their next paper drive on Friday, October 26 & Saturday, October 27 from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Trailers will be located on the north side of the church. Items accepted include newspapers, junk mail, magazines, paper bags and cardboard (please keep cardboard separate) - no plastic please. Proceeds will go to the Silver Lake Ambulance, Fire Department and Winter Festival. For more information or help hauling papers, please contact Ray Bandas at 320-583-3747.
