for everyone to enjoy. Mass will show on channel 8 if you use a Mediacom cable box or on channel 107.3 if you don’t use a cable box on your TV. This is available for Mediacom customers in both Silver Lake and Lester Prairie.
EUCHARISTIC ADORATION: One of the great opportunities we have in our parish is to spend time in the presence of the Lord through Eucharistic Adoration. From 8:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. each Tuesday, the Eucharist is exposed in the chapel for quiet prayer and adoration.

CCW MISSION OF LOVE PROJECT: The Council of Catholic
Women is once again sponsoring the Mission of Love Project. This
project sells Valentine cards for $2.00 or more and the proceeds help
poor families at the mission in San Lucas Tolimán, Guatemala with
food and school supplies. There will be volunteers at the doors this
weekend and the weekend of February 10 and 11. Your participation
in the project is appreciated.

THE NUDCCW SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM offers scholarship
monies for educational and spiritual growth to CCW groups and
parish members who are volunteers or employees involved in various
parish ministries. If interested in learning how to apply, who is
eligible, and what amount may one apply for contact CCW President

or more information. Deadline is Thursday, March 1, 2018.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS: Fish Fry tickets located in the back
of church are available for you to pick.
ADORATION NEED VOLUNTEERS: Volunteers are needed on
Tuesday’s starting after morning Mass until 8:00 p.m. In its’ fullest
essence…Eucharistic Adoration is “God and Man reaching out for
each other at the same time!”
At this time, there is a GREAT need
for volunteers to cover 8:30 - 9:00 a.m., 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.,
4:00 - 5:00 p.m. and 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. hours and substitutes. Please

BROTHERS & SISTERS IN CHRIST: Want a great way to kick off the Lenten season? Please consider attending the upcoming TEC retreat being held February 17-19 at Holy Redeemer School, Marshall. Following is a little about the retreat; you can find more information at the link below. What Is Together Encountering Christ? Riverbend TEC is a three-day retreat experience focused on the Paschal Mystery of Jesus Christ. Each Riverbend TEC weekend begins with registration at 9:30 a.m. on the first day and ends at 4:30 p.m. on the third day. A Riverbend TEC weekend seeks to facilitate spiritual growth and a personal encounter with Christ through music, discussions, talks, prayer, Scripture, liturgy, and celebration. Retreats are open to youth age 16+ and adults.

PRAYER NETWORK VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: The healing
power of the prayer network supports you or a family member in
need of help. This ministry is a way of the community holding others
up to the Lord in prayer. We are looking for volunteers to be a part of

TRAVELING CHALICE OPPORTUNITY: One of our responsibilities as Catholics is to pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life. Our Traveling Chalice Prayer for Vocations program is a great opportunity for parishioners to pray and promote vocations. Each week, one family receives the chalice & book to take home. While the chalice is in your home, we ask that you make a family commitment to pray each day for vocations using the prayers provided in the book. KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS:

KC meeting and turtle soup lunch will be on Tuesday, February 20 at 7:00 p.m. All KC members & families and widows of deceased Knights of Columbus are welcome to attend. Please bring your own bowls and spoons.

Pre-Sale Fish Fry Raffle Tickets for the Fish Fry on March 2, 2018 are available from KC members or at the parish office. They are also available at the Silver Lake Liquor Store, Silver Lake Legion, First Community Bank and Molly’s Restaurant. The pre-sale ticket price is $11.00.

The next paper drive is April 13 & 14 with profits going to the Silver Lake Youth Rec. & pool operations.

COUNCIL OF CATHOLIC WOMEN
Council of Catholic Women Bake Sale
: The CCW will be holding a bake sale during the Knights of Columbus Fish Fry on Friday, March 2, 2018. All CCW members are asked to donate various baked goods and of course our #1 BIG KOLACHE SALE for the year. A letter will be sent to your Chair or Co-Chairs asking them to call all women in their group to donate. Please bring your baked items to the auditorium on Thursday, March 1 from 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. or before 5:00 p.m. Friday, March 2. We are asking for a monetary donation of $10.00 to be made out to the CCW and should be placed in an envelope marked CCW Bake Sale and dropped off or mailed to the parish office, or placed in the weekend collection.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION:
 
The AFC First Communion Parent Meeting will be held Sunday, February 18 at 2:30 p.m. in the lower level of Holy Family parish. Because the content of this meeting is geared toward adults, we kindly ask that children not attend.

The Confirmation Exam for Religious Education will be held on Wednesday, February 21 at 7:00 p.m. in the gymnasium of St. Pius X in Glencoe. Candidates should bring their folders from class, their Bible and a sharpened pencil.
