THE OFFICE OF THE NEW EVANGELIZATION
continues to produce videos with accompanying PowerPoint presentations for educational purposes. People can watch them online from the convenience of their homes. The videos are free and require no registration. Useful titles include: “Why Sunday Mass is Essential to Every Christian”; “The Rosary and the Imitation of Christ”; and “The Theology Behind the Fourth Plan for Parishes.” These videos are available at www.nikacatholic.com and the links to them are on the ‘Free Distance Education’ tab.”

Catholics Come Home Website
Catholics Come Home is an evangelization campaign to welcome „lost? Catholics back into the church as well as to strengthen the faith of our faithful and help them spread Catholicism. Bishop LeVoir and the Diocese of New Ulm support the campaign.
ROSARY SOCIETY: The founder of the Confraternity is St. Dominic, who at the request of the Blessed Virgin, introduced and established the prayer of the Most Holy Rosary. Each member in good standing of the Holy Rosary Confraternity share in the prayers, good works and Masses of the society throughout the world. Each member gains extraordinary Indulgences, applicable to the souls in purgatory. The Rosary Society invites men & women of the parish to join the confraternity and share in the abundance of graces. Dues are only $3.00 per year, meetings are four times per year and we hold a bake sale on Palm Sunday with the money going towards altar needs.

MASS ON CABLE TV:
Our weekend Mass is now showing on TV
at 8:00 p.m. Saturday,
9:30 a.m. Sunday
and 7:00 p.m. Tuesday
for everyone to enjoy. Mass will show on channel 8 if you use a Mediacom cable box or on channel 107.3 if you don’t use a cable box on your TV. This is available for Mediacom customers in both Silver Lake and Lester Prairie.


COUNCIL OF CATHOLIC WOMEN:

Schoenstatt Shrine Retreat: September 26, October 11 or
November 9, 2016. A one day retreat starting at 10:00 a.m. and
finished at 3:00 p.m. This is a very good way to have a faith filled
day and go through the Holy Door of Mercy. If interested in
attending either of these events or want more information, please

MARK YOUR CALENDAR – Holy Trinity CCW Fall Bazaar,
Saturday, October 1 from 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Holy Trinity
High School. Lunch starts at 10:30 a.m. (Takeout orders will be
available but if possible please bring your own container) A variety
of booths include, crafts, bake sale, silent auction, plants and
produce, dollar game and grab bags. Area crafters and small
businesses include Perfectly Plus Jewelry, Tastefully Simple, Crafts,
Knit, Crocheted and Embroidered items, etc. Also available will be
Guatemalan Coffee, Holy Trinity Cook Books and 2017 Raffle
Calendar Tickets. Come for breakfast, lunch, homemade items and
fellowship. Sign up for the door prize, need not be present to win..


FALL BAZAAR:
Just 2 weeks left before our annual Fall Bazaar on October 2!
Several awesome Bingo prizes and items for the Kid’s Games and
Country Store have come in – please keep them coming!! Prizes can
be placed in the containers located in the church lower level on the
table inside the north entrance, and don’t forget to sign the donation
log. Please remember to take a few Bazaar Flyers with you to help
spread the word – they are on the tables in the back of church. Thank
you all for your generosity!
Bazaar Envelopes: Please stop by and get your Bazaar envelope
from the table in the back of church. Each envelope contains a set of
six raffle tickets and your work schedule. A summary of the
Worker’s List
can be found on the bulletin board by each door, at
the parish office, or our website at
www.holyfamilysilverlake.org.
Last Chance to Donate to our All-Cash Raffle: Cash donations for
our All Cash Raffle will continue to be accepted through the end of
September. If you would like to make a donation, you may drop it
off at or mail it to the parish office, or place it in the Sunday
collection in an envelope marked “Raffle Donation.” Thank you so
much!
Pumpkins Wanted: We are looking for donations of small
pumpkins to be used at the Kids Games. New this year, kids will be
able to decorate their own pumpkin and take it home with them. If
you have any small pumpkins that you would be willing to donate,
please drop them off at the metal shed on Saturday, October 1.
