MASS ON CABLE TV:
Our weekend Mass is now
showing on TV
at 8:00 p.m. Saturday,
9:30 a.m. Sunday
and 7:00 p.m. Tuesday
for everyone to enjoy. Mass will show on channel 8 if you use a Mediacom cable box or on channel 107.3 if you don’t use a cable box on your TV. This is available for Mediacom customers in both Silver Lake and Lester Prairie.
EUCHARISTIC ADORATION: One of the great opportunities we have in our parish is to spend time in the presence of the Lord through Eucharistic Adoration. From 8:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. each Tuesday, the Eucharist is exposed in the chapel for quiet prayer and adoration.

is in need of volunteers, 18 years of age and older, to visit hospice patients and their families in your neighborhood. We provide ongoing training and offer a flexible schedule

PRAYER NETWORK VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: The healing
power of the prayer network supports you or a family member in
need of help. This ministry is a way of the community holding others
up to the Lord in prayer. We are looking for volunteers to be a part of

would like more information or to volunteer for the prayer network.

COUNCIL OF CATHOLIC WOMEN: Prolife Collection: We are collecting items for Birthright Crisis Pregnancy Center now through Monday, November 27, 2017. A list of needed items can be found at the same drop off location on the pack-n-play in the back of church. Let’s fill it up! For all monetary donations, please make checks payable to Birthright and place in envelope and drop off in the weekend collection or the parish office.

CCW Craft, Gently Used Toy and Bake Sale: Mark your calendar for November 18/19 for this event. You may drop off your craft items and toys at the church lower level at any time through Friday, November 17.
The Holy Family CCW asks members to donate food items, baked goods or make a monetary donation (suggested value $10). Monetary donations can be dropped off in the parish office or put in the Sunday collection in an envelope marked “Bake Sale” and your name. Please make checks out to Holy Family CCW. Baked goods and food can be dropped off at church on Friday, November 17 until 6:00 p.m., or on Saturday morning. Thank you for supporting the CCW.
TRAVELING CHALICE OPPORTUNITY: One of our responsibilities as Catholics is to pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life. Our Traveling Chalice Prayer for Vocations program is a great opportunity for parishioners to pray and promote vocations. Each week, one family receives the chalice & book to take home. While the chalice is in your home, we ask that you make a family commitment to pray each day for vocations using the prayers provided in the book. DIOCESAN MINISTRIES APPEAL: Together We Are One: Bishop LeVoir’s 2017 Diocesan Ministries Appeal letter will be sent to all parishioners the week of October 30. Commitment Weekend will be on November 25-26. You will be hearing more about the DMA as we move closer to that weekend. The theme of this year’s Appeal is “Together We Are One.”

COMMON CUP COMMUNITY SING FUNDRAISER NOVEMBER 19: The fall fundraiser of Common Cup Ministries, Coming Together in Song, is on Sunday, November 19, at 4:00 p.m. at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1040 S. Grade Rd. SW, Hutchinson. A freewill offering will be taken in support of the many needed services that Common Cup provides. Please see the poster for more details.

SYNOD ON YOUTH: In preparation for a Synod on Young People, the Faith and Vocational Discernment, the Vatican Office for the Synod has opened a survey for youth and young adults. The link to the survey is at: https://survey-synod2018.glauco.it/limesurvey/index.php/147718. It will load in Italian, but you can change the language on a dropdown menu. The survey is for those ages 16-29 and is an opportunity for them to make their voice heard. The survey will close after November 30, 2017, so go on line and help shape the Church’s vision today.


CHRISTMAS FLOWER AND DECORATION DONATIONS
NEEDED
: We need your assistance in decorating the church for Christmas.
Once again we have placed an envelope in your packets. If you wish to donate for
flowers, place your donation in the envelope and fill out the back of the envelope
and then drop it in the Sunday collection. You can drop your envelope in the
collection at any time between now and December 8 if you wish your memorial
to be listed in the Christmas bulletin.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS:
Keep Christ in Christmas cards are available in the back of church
with prices marked on each box. Please pay for them with the
envelopes provided. Payment may be dropped off in the collection, at

DMA PARISH PROJECT: Next weekend we will be celebrating DMA commitment Sunday. Don’t forget your DMA envelope when you come to Mass. 20% of your donation will be returned to the parish. We have designated our portion of this year’s DMA to air-condition the lower level of the church and to getting an effective heating system for the large meeting room in the Education Center.
