CARPET - PEW - AIR-CONDITIONING PROJECT UPDATE: The final stage of work on our long-awaited project will begin on Monday, April 30, when a St. Paul Fabricating crew will begin the removal of the old pews. Sunday, April 29, will be the last Mass in the Church proper until the work is completed in early June.

Used Pews: Starting this week people who would like a used pew should mark them with blue painter’s tape that is available on the table in the back of church. They should put the tape on the end cap on the side aisle end of the pew or pews that they want and write their name on the tape. On Monday, April 30, the crew will unbolt the requested pews and place them in a corner for pick-up. The pews need to be picked up between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 30. The person wanting the pew or pews is responsible for disassembly, moving and loading. The St. Paul Fabricating crew will not disassemble, shorten, carry out, load or deliver pews. Any pews still in church after April 30 will be disposed of with the other pews
Mass during Construction: We will be celebrating Mass in the lower level of the church during construction. We will be setting up the space for Mass during the week of April 30. Watch the bulletin for times that we might need help.

Funerals during Construction: We will, of course, celebrate funerals during the time of construction. The funerals will be in the lower level of the church. We will not be able to provide a lunch for funerals during the time of construction as the space will not be available. Families could choose to use either Holy Trinity or St. Pius X for their funerals during this time.

Other Events and Meetings: Other events regularly scheduled for the lower level of the church will either have to be moved to another space or postponed until the construction is completed and we have moved back into church. Leaders of groups that usually meet in the lower level of the church are asked to contact either Fr. Tony or Bobbi Ludewig to explore other spaces for meetings and gatherings.
Tootsie Roll Drive:
The Knights of Columbus will be holding their tootsie roll drive the weekend of April 28/29 with proceeds going to the handicapped.
