program. We are in great need of a co-catechist for grade 7 as well as

RCIA BEGINS SUNDAY, OCTOBER 13: Those interested in exploring joining the Catholic Church will meet on Sunday, October 13, at 3:30 p.m. in Fr. Tonyís office at St. Pius X. At this meeting we will begin the process of exploring the faith and Godís call in our lives. If you are planning on coming, please let Fr. Tony know. You can e-mail him at or call at 320-979-7248.

LITURGICAL MINISTER RECRUITING NEXT SUNDAY: At Masses next weekend, you will be invited to minister to our parish community through one of the liturgical ministries. We are in need of lectors, extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion and ushers. Please pray about how God might be calling you to help us celebrate our Sunday Masses.

AREA FAITH COMMUNITY LIVING ROSARY: On Sunday, October 20, at 1:30 p.m. the St. John Paul II Area Faith Community will celebrate its annual Living Rosary at the Church of St. Pius X. Each parish in our area faith community is responsible for providing the people for one decade of the Rosary. If you are interested in being one of the 12 people we need for this beautiful celebration, please contact Bobbi Ludewig in the parish office
DISCOVERING CHRIST is an eight week experience where anyone and everyone, from the baptized in the pews to the unbaptized is invited to hear the Good News and personally encounter Jesus Christ. Discovering Christ helps people enter into or renew a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, experience the love of God the Father, and be empowered by the Holy Spirit to live as Godís children. The first session is Sunday, October 13 at 5:00 p.m. at Church of the Holy Family, Silver Lake. Each night consists of a FREE meal, a video teaching, and discussion with a small group. Donít worry, you donít have to share if you donít want to! Registration is open at
PAPER DRIVE: The Silver Lake Knights of Columbus will hold their next paper drive Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26 from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Trailers will be located on the north side of the church. Items accepted include newspapers; junk mail, magazines, paper bags and cardboard (please keep cardboard separate). No plastic please!
