DIOCESE OF NEW ULM SUMMER CAMPS:
The Diocese of New Ulm is offering a variety of
summer camps for young people.
“Camp Beloved” is for girls who are entering 6th grade - 12th grade, and will be held from July 22 -26
. “Camp Greatness,” for boys going into 6th grade - 8th grade,
will be held from July 27 - July30.
“Camp Greatness,” for boys going into 9th grade - 12th grade,
will be held from July 31 - August 4.

EUCHARISTIC ADORATION: One of the great opportunities we have in our parish is to spend time in the presence of the Lord through Eucharistic Adoration. From 8:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. each Tuesday, the Eucharist is exposed in the chapel for quiet prayer and adoration.
RELIGIOUS EDUCATION: Volunteers Needed: Please consider volunteering for one of the open areas we have for Religious Education:
• Catechists or Co-Catechists for grades 5 (5:15 - 6:45 p.m.) and 7 & 11 (6:45 - 8:15 p.m.)
• Substitute Catechists for all grade levels
• Prayer Listeners for all grade levels
Training is available for all new volunteers, as well as an AFC training/enrichment session in August. Please prayerfully consider this unique and rewarding opportunity to pass along your faith to the young people of our parish! All volunteers must be VIRTUS trained and in good standing with the Diocese of New Ulm.
FALL BAZAAR: Planning is underway for our annual Fall Bazaar, which will be held on Sunday, October 1. If you would like to join the committee, our next meeting will be held on Monday, July 24 at 7:00 p.m. in the lower level of the education center.
Chair Persons Needed: We are in need of a chair person or co-chairs for both Bingo and the Country Store. Our former chairs for these two areas are willing to help our new chairs and show them what has been done in the past. For more information, please contact Lori at the parish office.
Donations for the All-Cash Raffle is now being accepted through the end of September. If you would like to have your name printed on the ticket as a donor, please declare your donation by July 17, 2017. Donations can be dropped off or mailed in to the parish office, or placed in the Sunday collection in an envelope marked “Raffle Donation.” Please make checks payable to Church of the Holy Family.
BAPTISM PREPARATION SESSION:
The next Baptism preparation session will be on
July 22 at 10:00 a.m. in the Education Center at Holy Family.
Please enter through the red doors. There is no need to register, just come and join in. The next preparation session will be on September 30. If you are planning on baptizing before the fall, please attend this session. If you are expecting a baby now is the time to get prepared.
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS: Did you know that saving pop tabs help the Ronald McDonald Houses of Minnesota. The KC’s have placed containers for you to drop your tabs off at church.
SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE: Common Cup Ministry will be sponsoring the McLeod County School Supply Drive for the upcoming 2017-18 school year. This outreach is only possible with donated supplies and dollars. Please see the box in the lower level of the Church of the Holy Family, in the entrance of the Church of the Holy Trinity and in the gathering area of the Church of St. Pius X for a list of needed supplies. The deadline for donations is August 14.
CROW RIVER HABITAT FOR HUMANITY is in need of volunteers to bring lunches to the build site. If any individual or groups would like to bring a simple lunch to our build site, which is located at 429 Grant Avenue, Hutchinson. We build on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays. THE GLENCOE AMERICAN RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE will be at the Glencoe City Center on Wednesday, July 26 from 1:00 - 7:00 p.m. For an appointment call 864-3475, or simply walk in that day. A current I.D. is required. Donors must be at least 17 years of age and must weigh at least 110 lbs. There is no upper age limit.
ALLINA HEALTH HOSPICE is in need of volunteers, 18 years of age and older, to visit hospice patients and their families in your neighborhood. We provide ongoing training and offer a flexible schedule. Please contact Pam Ainslie at Allina Health hospice Volunteer Services at 320-484-9211.
