and 7:00 p.m. Tuesday
for everyone to enjoy. Mass will show on channel 8 if you use a Mediacom cable box or on channel 107.3 if you don’t use a cable box on your TV. This is available for Mediacom customers in both Silver Lake and Lester Prairie.

EUCHARISTIC ADORATION: One of the great opportunities we have in our parish is to spend time in the presence of the Lord through Eucharistic Adoration. From 8:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. each Tuesday, the Eucharist is exposed in the chapel for quiet prayer and adoration.

Houses of Minnesota. Containers have been placed for you to drop

PRAYER NETWORK VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: The healing
power of the prayer network supports you or a family member in
need of help. This ministry is a way of the community holding others
up to the Lord in prayer. We are looking for volunteers to be a part of
our prayer network. Please contact Celia Knoll 327-2356 if you
would like more information or to volunteer for the prayer network.

Quilting We are just starting up our quilting for the season on Tuesday’s, at 9:00 a.m. in the education center, (enter through the red doors). If you are interested in learning how to quilt, this is a good time to come and join us, as the group is willing to help you get started. We are also looking for help in sewing quilt tops which can be any size or any pattern. If you are interested, please stop in on Tuesdays, or contact Celeste Zirbes at 320-282-1909.

Prolife Collection: We are collecting items for Birthright Crisis Pregnancy Center now through Monday, November 27, 2017. A list of needed items can be found on the pack-n-play in the back of church. Let’s fill it up! For all monetary donations, please make checks payable to Birthright and place in envelope

paper drive will be held on
Friday, October 27 & 28 from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
with profits going to the Silver Lake Fire & Ambulance departments & Winter Fest. Items accepted include newspapers, junk mail, magazines, paper bags and cardboard. Cardboard needs to be kept separate from paper and NO plastic is accepted.

A free will offering lunch will be served after Mass.
WARM COAT COLLECTION CONTINUES: Boxes for the Common Cup Ministries Warm Coat Collection are out at each parish. The last day for donations is October 16. Common Cup Ministry will be sponsoring another warm coat and clothing distribution on October 18. Distribution will take place at Maplewood Academy (820 Main St. N.), Hutchinson, during the MEA Break from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

HURRICANE MARIA AND EARTHQUAKE COLLECTION: On the weekend of October 21 and 22, we will be taking a second collection to help victims of Hurricane Maria, which devastated Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands and to assist victims of recent earthquakes in Mexico. If you plane to donate by check, please make your check payable to your respective parish.

FIFTH ANNUAL FRIENDS OF SAN LUCAS GALA: The Friends of San Lucas will be holding their annual Gala on Saturday, October 28, from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Verizon Center, Mankato. The evening includes dinner, silent and live auctions and an update on all the good work happening at the mission in San Lucas Tolimán, Guatemala. Tickets and sponsorships are available at www.sanlucasmission.org.
