DIOCESAN MINISTRIES APPEAL: Thank you to all of you who have made a commitment to the Diocesan Ministries Appeal. We appreciate your support. At this time, the Diocesan Ministries Appeal has received $15,225.00 in pledges and gifts from our parish. Our goal for gifts and pledges this year is $27,066.10.
All Altar Servers and Knights of Columbus members and their families are invited for pizza and bowling on Sunday, January 20. We will leave the Church parking lot at 12:15 p.m., arrive at the bowling alley around 12:30 p.m. and have pizza and pop, and then bowling from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m., returning to Silver Lake by 3:15 p.m. A sign-up sheet is on the table in the back of Church - we hope you will join us for an afternoon of fun!

CONFIRMATION RETREAT DATE SET: This yearís Confirmation retreat will be on Sunday, February 24, from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Church of St. Pius X. This retreat is for the Confirmation candidates and their parents. While Confirmation sponsors are not required to attend, they would be most welcome if they choose to participate and are available. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend.

EMMAUS RETREAT FOR MEN, FEBRUARY 8 - 10: There will be an Emmaus Retreat for men from February 8 - 10 at Shetek Lutheran Ministries Retreat Center at Lake Shetek. The retreat begins at 6:30 p.m. on Friday and ends at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. Participants can carpool from the Church of the Holy Redeemer in Marshall.
