TRAVELING CHALICE OPPORTUNITY: One of our responsibilities as Catholics is to pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life. Our Traveling Chalice Prayer for Vocations program is a great opportunity for parishioners to pray and promote vocations. Each week, one family receives the chalice & book to take home. While the chalice is in your home, we ask that you make a family commitment to pray each day for vocations using the prayers provided in the book. If you as an individual or family are interested in participating, please contact Celia Knoll at the parish office. 320-327-2356.

ADORATION is each Tuesday, following the 8:00 a.m. Mass until 4:00 p.m. There are still many open hours that need to be filled for Adoration, please pray that volunteers come forward. Open times are: End of Mass - 9:00 a.m. (1 volunteer needed), 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. (2 volunteers needed), 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. (1 volunteer needed), Noon - 1:00 p.m. (2 volunteers needed), 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. (1 volunteer needed), 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. (2 volunteers needed). Holy Family Statues/Pictures
   MASS WITH ANOINTING OF THE SICK AT HOLY FAMILY ON WEDNESDAY: There will be Mass with the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick at the Church of the Holy Family in Silver Lake on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. There will be a lunch following the Mass. All those who would like to receive the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick are encouraged to attend.

: The Church of the Holy Family is seeking a maintenance
person for 10 -15 hours a week. Duties will include maintenance of
our buildings and systems, lawn care and some snow removal. This
position does not include cleaning. For more information please

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS: Paper Drive: The Silver Lake Knights of Columbus will hold their next paper drive on Friday, October 26 & Saturday, October 27 from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Trailers will be located on the north side of the church. Items accepted include newspapers, junk mail, magazines, paper bags and cardboard (please keep cardboard separate) - no plastic please. Proceeds will go to the Silver Lake Ambulance, Fire Department and Winter Festival. For more information or help hauling papers, please contact Ray Bandas at 320-583-3747.
