MASS ON CABLE TV:
Our weekend Mass is now
showing on TV
at 8:00 p.m. Saturday,
9:30 a.m. Sunday
and 7:00 p.m. Tuesday
for everyone to enjoy. Mass will show on channel 8 if you use a Mediacom cable box or on channel 107.3 if you don’t use a cable box on your TV. This is available for Mediacom customers in both Silver Lake and Lester Prairie.
RENOVATION COMMITTEE MEETING SCHEDULED:
On Tuesday, April 25, at 7:00 p.m
. the committee that will guide the conclusion of the renovation of our church with new flooring, pews and air-conditioning will meet for the first time. We will meet in the parish education center. Please enter through the red doors. Our agenda will include a review of the financing of the project, a setting of what we want to accomplish, the discussion of the process we will have to follow and the choice of a contractor to work with.
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS:

KC Banquet
is Friday, April 28 at the Silver Lake Legion. Members, wives and widows of members are invited to attend at no cost for the meal. 6:00 p.m. social hour, 7:00 p.m. dinner with a program to follow. RSVP by April 14 to Chad Bandas at 320-282-0488.

Tootsie Roll Drive: The KC’s will be handing out Tootsie Rolls the weekend of April 29 & 30, with proceeds to aid handicapped persons. Please be generous.

Remember to keep saving pop tabs to help the Ronald McDonald Houses of Minnesota, through the month of April. Containers are available for you to drop the tabs off in church.
RELIGIOUS EDUCATION:

Mass and May Crowning

followed by an Ice Cream Social in the Church lower level. Come and rejoice with our Catechists and students as they give thanks to God for a year of growing in knowledge and wisdom.

Please keep our 2nd graders and their parents in your prayers as they finalize their preparations to receive the Sacrament of First Eucharist

UNDERSTANDING GRIEF SEMINAR:
Those from our Area Faith Community who have recently suffered a death of a loved one are invited to gather with others who are living through the same experience for an afternoon of reflection and understanding on
Tuesday, April 25, 2017 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
The seminar is entitled, “Does This Happen to Everyone?” Fr. Paul Schumacher will reflect on our faith and the challenges of understanding death and Ms. Mary Nelson, a social worker with Allina, will talk about the process of grieving and coming to an understanding of death in our lives.
