Dear Parishioners and Friends of Holy Family,

With this column, I conclude my last bulletin here at Holy Family. I want to thank each and every one of you for being part of this parish and for what you offer it. We have a lot to be proud of here and I am thankful for being part of your lives for the past three years.

We have accomplished many projects and have grown into a deeper faith
and understanding of what it means to be drawn into the deeper faith that
God wants for you.

For all of you who shared your life stories with me, I pray your journeys will
continue to be healthy and that you’ll never give up. It’s only through faith,
hard work and perseverance that we conquer our goals and our demons.
Honesty is always the best policy, always live in the truth. Live the truth!

For those of you who I did not hit it off with, I offer you my prayers and an
apology. Decisions had to be made that were in the best interest of the
school and parish. Unfortunately, we did not always see eye to eye, but in
the long run I hope you can understand the decisions that were made.

To the staff and board members, thank you for your time and effort. It was a
pleasure working with you! To the volunteers who do so much and remain
anonymous, yes, you know who your are, thank you a million times over.
Remember, God always sees the good that we have done.

Please pray for the teenagers in the treatment centers. I will continue to
work there on Mondays and also continue to serve on their Board of Directors.

Please continue to bring donation for the local food shelves. A little
help goes a long way.

I conclude today with the words to the song, “I Hope You Dance” as you go
through life I hope you experience life to the fullest and I hope you always….
dance!

Peace forever,

Fr. Brian
I hope you never lose
your sense of wonder
You get your fill to eat
But always keep that hunger
May you never take one single
breath for granted
God forbid love ever leave you
empty handed
I hope you still feel small
When you stand by the ocean
Whenever one door closes,
I hope one more opens
Promise me you'll give faith
a fighting chance
And when you get the choice
to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance
I hope you dance
I hope you never fear
those mountains in the distance
Never settle for the path
of least resistance
Living might mean taking chances
But they're worth taking
Lovin' might be a mistake
But it's worth making
Don't let some hell bent heart
Leave you bitter
When you come close to selling out
Reconsider
Give the heavens above
More than just a passing glance
And when you get the choice
to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance
Time is a real and constant motion always
Rolling us along
Tell me who
Wants to look back on their
youth and wonder
Where those years have gone
I hope you still feel small
When you stand by the ocean
Whenever one door closes,
I hope one more opens
Promise me you'll give faith
a fighting chance
And when you get the choice
to sit it out or dance
Dance!
